Fabricated Extrusion Company, LLC. Is familiar with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act and the rules adopted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission related to conflict minerals (collectively, “Conflict Minerals Provisions”). Conflict minerals currently consist of Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten and Gold. Terms used in this statement have the same meanings as in the Conflict Minerals Provisions.
We believe that most or all raw materials or compounds we purchase to manufacture parts for our customers do not have any conflict minerals. However, it is possible for trace amounts of residual conflict minerals remaining from prior catalysis or other manufacturing processes, or from natural sources, to occur in some of our products. We believe that no conflict mineral is necessary to the functionality of, or intentionally added to our raw materials or compounds. FEC continues to work with our suppliers to ensure no conflict minerals are present in any of the items we purchase.
